“You are complicated.”

So were the words the doctor used to summarize where things are at.

It’s been 25 years since I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Parkinson’s has been called “The slow death”. At this rate, it will take close to forever. I’m barely dying.

This may be changing. The biopsy results came back confirming the suspicion – cancer (prostate). While, on the one hand, the cancer appears to still be treatable, on the other hand, they’re not sure how. The cancer is on top of the Parkinson’s. The Parkinson’s involuntary movements complicates attempts to treat the cancer.  Can they do radiation on a moving target? How is it determined if the cancer has spread when imaging is a blur?

God knows.

Doc’s conclusion, “This may take some time.”

God has it.
